Gold Coast Bank Sponsors the Inaugural Meeting of the Long Island Greek-American Chamber of Commerce!

Our friends at Rivkin Radler in Uniondale generously hosted the first inaugural meeting of the newly formed Long Island Greek American Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, February 24th! This well-attended event, sponsored by Gold Coast Bank, drew many of our friends, new and old, together for a business networking event that was the first of its kind on Long Island! Special Guest Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas graciously addressed the group, sharing her experience as a successful Greek-American, while praising the Greek-American community for their support and dedication to their heritage and each other!

UPDATE on the young man who sunk the 3 pointer at Stony Brook University this weekend to win $500 from GCB

Congratulations to Ethan Agro, 12, of Mount Sinai! Ethan does play league basketball which might account for his skill on the court … BUT … there’s more to this young man than meets the eye!
Just nine short months ago Ethan underwent open heart surgery to repair his aortic valve! Ethan’s mother Susan tells us that they are overjoyed by his progress and the strength he has shown! What a blessing indeed! Needless to say we are humbled by this story and are beyond pleased to be a part of this exciting success for Ethan!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ethan, and your family as well! We are so proud of you! Winning in more ways than one! Enjoy it!

The Season of Giving Continues Here at Gold Coast Bank

Here at GCB we are very lucky and very proud to have a staff full of people who in coordination with the Bank, and on their own… time and dollar, reach out to the Long Island community with serial acts of kindness!

We would like to recognize Robin Wojciechowicz, our VP/Head of Credit Department and Amy Mott AVP / Underwriter for their amazing efforts in bringing Christmas to 2 deserving families, with 3 children each, here on Long Island! This is the 5th consecutive year that these lovely ladies have made generous, powerful and ANONYMOUS contributions to families in need!  Clothing has been purchased for the children, gifts from Santa and grocery store gift certificates for much needed food items!

Special thanks also to our generous staff (pictured) who participated in this worthy undertaking by donating funds, gifts, etc.!
