- GCB was proud to support our friends at W.S. Mount Elementary School in Stony Brook on Friday, May 17th! After participating in our "Give Us Your Best Guess" penny contest, Principal Roseanne DiBella and the Mount PTA were presented with a $500 donation and our lucky student winner scored $100! GCB Chairman/CEO John C. Tsunis and Setauket Manager Hope Kinney were on hand for the presentation!

- GCB staff were proud to coordinate with the Junior Achievement organization yet again to participate in JA's "Finance Park!"
- JA "Finance Park" is a fun and interactive economic education program for student's ages 12 - 18, through which students learn about financial institutions, the benefits of saving and investing, and how to budget for real-world expenses! Students work in groups in a virtually simulated life-like community where they receive mock professional, personal, and financial profiles, and using this information, create a budget paying for expenses like housing, utilities, transportation, entertainment, etc.

- It was a great day at Francis J. O'Neill Elementary School in Central Islip on Wednesday, May 15th! GCB Chairman/CEO John C. Tsunis, along with Setauket Manager Hope Kinney, presented O'Neill Elementary School Principal Kristine LoCasio, school PTA and our student winner with their well-deserved winnings from the Bank's "Give Us Your Best Guess" penny contest that was held in coordination with our friends at Junior Achievement! GCB donated $500 to the PTA and a cool $100 to our student winner for their participation! Money Talks! Thanks to all who took part!

- It was sleeping bags, ice cold rain and over 100 women sleeping outside in NYC to raise money and awareness to benefit the Covenant House's "Women Unite 2019" in support of homeless youth! Our very own Jacqueline Taylor, VP / Admin & HR, and her group " Poquott Ladies" raised $13,350 towards the grand total of $248,287!!! Congratulations on a job WELL DONE!
